Finance for carbon solutions: The Clean Development Mechanism from the financial sector perspective

UNEP FI launched its CEO Briefing on Finance for Carbon Solutions (PDF: 1.3 MB) at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCC) Tenth Conference of the Parties (COP 10).

The side event highlighted what the financial sector can offer in terms of carbon solutions, with a focus on the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), and, more specifically, the risks and opportunities associated with CDM projects as viewed by the financial sector.
