Latin American Task Force Meeting

1/2 July, 2004 | Lima, Peru

On 1/2 July, the UNEP FI Latin American Task Force came together for its first meeting in Lima, Peru. Members of the Task Force were joined by invited guests from across the region, as well as two observer companies and the Banking and Insurance Supervisor from Peru. The meeting served to agree on the LATF Terms of Reference and to further define the strategic focus and concrete activities of the group. Thanks to the expert input from meeting participants discussions were lively and engaged and contributed much to the development of a better understanding of the LATF's role in promoting sustainability in the Latin American financial sector.
