Training Workshop and CEO Breakfast for the Peruvian Banking Sector: Environmental and Social Risk Analysis and Management of Loans and Investment Processes

The second such training workshop convened by the Latin American Task Force in the Andean Region (see Colombia Workshop, March 2005), this event was marked by the Peruvian financial sector’s strong interest in and awareness of the sustainability agenda. Participants pooled ideas and recommendations which were presented during the ensuing CEO Breakfast. Among these were the importance of securing both governmental and private sector engagement, and need for wide-spread dissemination and training.
