Training Workshop and CEO Breakfast for the Ecuadorian Banking Sector: Environmental and Social Risk Analysis and Management of Loans and Investment Processes

The third such workshop to be convened by the Latin American Task Force in the Andean Region (see Colombia Workshop, March 2005 and Peru Workshop, March 2006), this training event sought to assist financial analysts to identify and assess environmental and social risk in credit lending and investment, while the CEO Breakfast seeks to sensitise senior management and stakeholders from government and industry to assess the business case for social and environmental risk assessment. Both events included an agenda-setting session for the promotion of sustainable finance best practice in the Ecuadorian financial sector.
