The finance sector is an engine to economic growth and development. At the heart of the great economic challenges that lie ahead over the next decade is to transform the financial services sectors into a more modern, efficient and holistic engine of sustainable growth. The finance sector is crucial in implementing the global Sustainability agenda: as key intermediaries in the economy, it is time for banks, insurers and asset managers to embed the seeds of change and to swiftly move from “PR-Sustainability” to “Sustainable Finance”: from “Awareness to Action”.
