Special session: Back to the Future: “the Raison d’être of Finance”
The Way Forward for Sustainable Finance
This plenary will feature a unique speech themed Back to the Future: “The Raison d’être of Finance” to walk the audience through the fundamentals of finance to how we can move into the future we want. By analyzing the global architecture of the financial system, the plenary will continue the theme of the speech, and will try to tackle the key challenges, such as how to ensure financial institutions and its regulatory environment are fit for the future, and how to mobilize all financial system players to take collective action on sustainable finance for green economy. The panelists will conclude the 2013 Global Roundtable by shedding light on the future landscape of sustainable finance.
