Dr. Zwick is the Head of Department “Corporate Responsibility” of Munich Re Group since September 2010. From 2010 to 2012 Chair and as of 2013 Board Member of the PSI Initiative of the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative. In addition, Chair of the Board of the Munich Re Schinzler Foundation on corporate volunteering and Board Member of the Munich University Society.

From 2005 to 2008, chaired the Steering Committee “Sustainability Research” of the German Ministry of Education and Research between 2005-2008. From 2000 to 2010 as Head of the Allianz Group Sustainability Office responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s strategy for sustainable development.

From 1994 to 2000 scientific officer at the Institute for Technological Prospective Studies of the Joint Research Center (JRC) of the European Commission in Sevilla, Spain, in charge of policy advice on the analysis of political, technological and economic options for the reduction of greenhouse gases on the mandate of the European Parliament and the European Commission.

Dr. Zwick holds a PhD from the Institute for Ecological Chemistry (German Joint Research Center for Environment and Health), Munich, on climate research.
