Françoise d’Estais is the Head of the Finance Unit of the Energy, Climate and Technology Branch at UN ENVIRONMENT, Françoise leads a team facilitating access to international climate funding for countries, and engaging with the finance sector to mobilise investment for renewable energy and energy efficiency projects and ventures globally. The team designs and implements catalytic programmes aimed addressing gaps in the finance continuum, addressing information asymmetries and supporting first movers in the development of new and replicable financial products and services.
