Gerald Walker is the Chief Executive Officer of ING  UK, Ireland and Middle East. He has worked for ING Bank and its predecessor organisations for over 25 years and undertaken a range of senior roles, including Global Head of Lending, Global Head of Securities Services and Global Head of Transaction Services. He was appointed to his current position in 2011.

Gerald is also Chairman of the Association of Foreign Banks, a Board member of The CityUK, a member of the Wholesale Banks Advisory Board of the British Bankers Association and a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers.

He started his career as a graduate trainee at Standard Chartered Bank. During his career he has lived and worked in Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam and London.
