Gus Schellekens

gus-schellekensGus is a Partner in EY’s MENA Clean Energy & Sustainability Services team.
Building on a 20 year management consulting career that has been focused on developing and delivering large programmes of work with private and public sector organizations globally, Gus these days works with clients to deliver the sustainability agenda for people, cities and infrastructure; to support the development of government policy to enable the development of renewable energy projects; and to manage the set up and delivery of associated public and private sector business transformation programs.
Over the past 8 years, he has worked closely with international clients to address the integration of sustainability into long-term business strategy and growth plans, the assimilation and assurance of financial information with environmental, social and governance information in company reports, and in helping organisationsunderstand the real cost their activities have on the economy, environment, and society. He has also supported projects that have involved the development and implementation of strategies, policies and cost recovery schemes for efficient resource management, and the implementation of energy, environmental, occupational health and safety management systems.
Gus has a BSc (Hons) Biology with Oceanography from Southampton University, UK, a MSc in Management Science (specialization in management of corporate change), from Imperial College, London, UK, and a Certificate in International Business (part), from New York University, USA.
