Kelly is based in Beijing and leads IISD’s China work on different projects and initiatives, incl. greening the financial system, advancing low-carbon development, promoting sustainable development of Chinese enterprises for “going out”, etc. She carries out and manages IISD’s research projects in collaboration with a wide range of government bodies, academia, business and NGOs. Kelly has over ten years experience in public policy research in relation to sustainability, green development, overseas investment and implications to Chinese multi-national companies, and also advising companies on strategies in relation to sustainability outcomes in social, economic and environmental aspects. Prior to dedicating to sustainability research and consultancy, she had worked for leading multinational companies in marketing, PR, and corporate communications.
