The UNEP FI Australasia Group would like to invite you to a webinar on its Sustainable Supply Chain Management for Financial Institutions project. The webinar will focus on presenting the project’s outcomes to members in other regions, and on seeking potential opportunities for collaboration going forward on the subject of supply chain management. To accommodate as many time zones as possible, two identical webinars will be run hosted: December 14, 22:00 pm – 23:00 pm CET
December 15, 7:00 am – 8:00 am CET
Initiated back in 2007, this project aims to develop a practical tool to evaluate and benchmark the environmental and sustainability performance of the suppliers of financial institutions. A Code of Conduct has been developed, covering seven different topics:

  • Topic 1: Corporate Governance
  • Topic 2: Environmental Management
  • Topic 3: Occupational Health, Safety and Environment
  • Topic 4: Workplace Policies & Human Rights
  • Topic 5: Risk Management
  • Topic 6: Supply Chain Management
  • Topic 7: Community

The first test run on this tool has so far been completed with one UNEP FI member institution and two of its suppliers. We would like to report on the work done to this date, seek different regional inputs for further refinement of this tool, and promote a wider adoption of this tool by peer institutions. A detailed agenda as well as documents on this tool will be circulated to you once you register.

Registration

Please kindly register by December 12, COB, CET time, in order to secure your access to the webinar.
