The United Nations Environment Finance Initiative (UNEP FI), along with CAF – Latin American Development Bank, and the Ecobanking project/INCAE Business School, are organizing an Executive Breakfast on Sustainable Finance in Latin America and Chile, which will be held on Tuesday, March 28 from 9h to 11h30 in Santiago de Chile.

At the High Level Executive Breakfast, the results of the “Survey on Environmental and Social Practices in Latin American Financial Institutions” by Ecobanking / INCAE Business School and CAF will be presented, and there will also be a presentation and delivery of the report “Sustainable Development in The Chilean Banking System” carried out by UNEP FI and CAF, together with the collaboration of the Chilean Banking Association (ABIF). In addition, participants will discuss the perspectives of Chile that would enable leadership in the sustainable construction sector, which will be followed by the Training Workshop on Green Housing Financing, a product of Ecobanking Project, to be held on March 29 in the same city.

The Executive Breakfast will be followed by the following workshop: Ecobanking Project / INCAE Business School and CAF – Latin American Development Bank, together with the collaboration of UNEP FI, ​​will be organizing the first face-to-face training workshop on “Green Housing Funding,” to be held on Wednesday, March 29 from 8h30am to 17h15 in Santiago de Chile.

La Iniciativa Financiera de ONU Medio Ambiente (UNEP FI, por sus siglas en inglés), junto con el proyecto Ecobanking del Centro Latinoamericano para la Competitividad y el Desarrollo Sostenible (CLACDS), de INCAE Business School, y CAF – Banco de Desarrollo de América Latina, organizan un Desayuno Ejecutivo sobre Finanzas Sostenibles en Latinoamérica y Chile, que se efectuará el día martes 28 de marzo de 9h a 11h30 en en Santiago de Chile.

En el Desayuno Ejecutivo de alto nivel se presentarán los resultados obtenidos de la “Encuesta sobre Prácticas Ambientales y Sociales en Instituciones Financieras de Latinoamérica” realizada por Ecobanking/INCAE Business School y CAF y se hará una presentación y entrega del reporte “El Desarrollo Sostenible en el Sistema Bancario de Chile” realizado por UNEP FI y  CAF, junto con la colaboración de la ABIF de Chile.  Además, se conversará con los participantes sobre las perspectivas de Chile que harían posible su liderazgo en el sector de la construcción sostenible, como antesala del Taller de capacitación sobre Financiación de Vivienda Verde, del Proyecto Ecobanking, a celebrarse el 29 de marzo en esta misma ciudad.
