UNEP FI Annual General Meeting (2015)

The UNEP FI Annual General Meeting is a unique and highly informative platform in which members not only determine the direction of the Initiative, but sustainable finance in general. The 2015 AGM takes place shortly after the world’s governments have agreed and set the Sustainable Development Goals to 2030, and just before the international climate negotiations in December in Paris (COP 21). Members therefore have an unparalleled opportunity to discuss the vital role of financial institutions in these unprecedented global developments. In particular, institutions are be able to network with the French climate delegation and learn of its plans for COP21 as the host country. Please note that members are required, under their terms of membership, to attend at least one AGM every two years. However, we encourage members to attend as many AGMs as possible beyond this requirement.

AGM Webinar

As per last year, there is a webinar ahead of the in-person AGM to provide briefings concerning administrative/governance issues. Further discussion time is available at the in-person AGM. Please note the webinar does not count as attendance to the AGM but is intended to help members who cannot attend be better briefed in their voting and to save time at the AGM by going straight into discussions.
