Leona Murphy joined IAG’s executive team in 2007 and has responsibility for the Group’s strategy and governance and risk, including corporate strategy, strategic, operational and insurance risk, governance, internal audit, people and culture and enterprise information technology. Previous senior positions within IAG, include group executive Corporate Office. Leona has 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry, including seven years with Promina and Vero where she was executive general manager, strategic implementation, working with the chief executive officer on strategy execution and alignment. Within Vero, Leona held several general management roles, including strategy and new business, and national claims. Prior to joining the Promina Group, she held senior positions with HIH Insurance.
