2016 GRT: A Carbon Neutral Event

Thanks to the sponsorship of Escarus, the 2016 UNEP FI Global Roundtable will be a carbon neutral event. Using their unique SıfırKarbon (Zero Carbon) methodology, they will measure the carbon emissions generated due to the event and then purchase Gold Standard Carbon Offsets to make the event carbon neutral.

SıfırKarbon Principles approaches a climate footprint of an organization in a standardized, reliable and verifiable way, and is based on robust and internationally accepted methodologies.All attendees will be required to fill out a brief emission calculation survey and the event organizers will provide information about the venue, food, paper, energy sources, and more to provide Escarus with the information that they need to conduct the carbon emission calculations.
