Blue Oceans Capital only invest in businesses that are good for people and good for the environment. Blue Oceans Capital does not invest in polluting commodities (such as oil, coal, copper or gold), weapons or defense, gambling and alcohol.
In making ethical investment decisions, they follow the guidelines as set out in the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) as developed by the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI).
In managing environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues they follow the standards as set out in the ESG reporting guidelines for Australian Companies as set by the Financial Services Council.
