Under the 2025 Inaugural Target Setting Protocol, members of the UN-convened Net-Zero Asset Owner Alliance will publish targets in 2021.

Alliance members have used IPCC 1.5C no and low pathways to inform their targets under the Protocol, which carefully balances scientific ambition, active ownership engagement, and divestment constraints.
