Global Head of Resilience and Sustainability at Aon for the past 4 years, Greg leads the firm’s strategy on climate and other systemic environmental challenges. Focused on the materiality of sustainability challenges and opportunities, Greg leads dialogues with clients, investors, and regulators on a range of issues. Putting the sustainability of the insurance sector at the core of his role, he’s built Aon’s value proposition to clients around identifying, quantifying, adapting, and mitigating sustainability and climate risks. Data and analytics is a key part of his role, with several partnerships with start-ups under his belt. Balancing both physical and transition risks, Greg believes on bringing clients on a journey, with engagement as the best way to enact change. He’s collaborated with organisations as varied as the OECD, EBRD, and Urban Land Institute, in addition to being the Managing Committee Chair of ClimateWise. Prior to Aon, Greg was an executive director at Willis Towers Watson, having begun his careers in investment banking at UBS, and brings a unique perspective from across the financial sector. Greg holds an MSc in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics and a BA in Political Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
