Head of Sustainability

Silke Jolowicz will take over the role of Head of Sustainability at Munich Re from November 2020. She will lead the sustainability team of Munich Re and coordinate strategic sustainability efforts across the group.
At current, she works at Munich Re’s Asset Manager MEAG as Senior Specialist Sustainability. In this role, she is part of the ESG team responsible for implementing Munich Re’s and MEAG’s sustainability strategy in the investments of MEAG and across the assets of the Group.
Previously, Silke Jolowicz worked as an ESG Product Specialist and as a sustainability analyst for the Food & Beverage sector at the ESG data and proxy voting provider oekom research, later ISS. Prior to her role at ISS, she has accompanied projects of the United Nations, World Bank and German Development Association in New York, Rio de Janeiro and Addis Ababa and completed her studies in Agricultural Economics at the University of Hohenheim.
