Why join NZAOA?
Institutional investors play a key role in helping the world limit global warming to 1.5°C. NZAOA signatories represent a significant portion of the financial sector and are delivering on a bold commitment to transition their investment portfolios to net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. NZAOA invites fellow leadership institutions to join this effort.
NZAOA signatory requirements can be summarised in three parts i) making the commitment, ii) setting intermediate decarbonisation targets (updated every five years), and iii) reporting on progress annually.
Asset owners that are considering joining NZAOA can find more information in the following documents.
