You are invited to respond to a survey being undertaken by the Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS), the Central Banks and Supervisors Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS) with 42 members.
In our capacity as a stakeholder of the NGFS, UNEP FI members have been given the opportunity to complete a questionnaire to inform NGFS workstream 1, which is currently assessing whether the risk profile of different assets (loans, bonds and equities) is affected by their “greenness”.
As part of this work, the NGFS has prepared a 4-page questionnaire (for banks only) on the potential identification of any risk differential between “green”, “non-green” and “brown” assets.
A specific version of the questionnaire was prepared for EU banks, with an additional question concerning the possibility to share the results with the EBA (European Banking Authority). You are receiving the questionnaire for banks that are part of the EU.
Please ensure that the questionnaire remains confidential at this stage. The responses to the questionnaire will remain confidential – shared only within the NGFS team in charge of the analyses – and the analyses will be conducted at an aggregated level.
The NGFS would greatly appreciate it if you could return the completed questionnaire by 30 September 2019.
