Bank of Jilin, headquartered in Changchun, Jilin Province, China, was restructured and established on the basis of the former Changchun Commercial Bank in October 2007. By the end of 2020, total assets of Bank of Jilin had reached RMB 434.5 billion. It ranked 289th in terms of tier 1 capital among the TOP 1000 WORLD BANKS 2020 named by The Banker.
Bank of Jilin has 11 branches, 378 outlets and 9,679 employees. Adhering to the core value concept of “Grow together, share together”, Bank of Jilin is committed to building a first-class excellent city commercial bank with clear strategy, scientific governance, effective internal control and sustainable development.
Summary of Sustainability Strategy
Bank of Jilin upholds the concept of sustainable development, develops green finance action plans, sets up special green finance service team and innovates green finance service forms, reinforce environmental, social and governance (ESG) risk management.
Sustainability strategy consists of the following five parts

- Focus on key areas of green finance
- Build a green finance service ecosystem
- Establish green finance product system
- Explore a path of green responsible bank
By joining UNEP FI, Bank of Jilin aims to seize the opportunity of sustainable development, improve the construction of green finance system, integrate Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and relevant content of Paris Agreement into its development, asset structure and service.
