As a global wealth and asset manager, the Lombard Odier Group understands that what makes economies and societies thrive over the long term will also be good for their business and that they must, therefore understand the social, environmental and economic effects of our actions. Lombard Odier believes that the world must move on from the WILD (Wasteful, Idle, Lopsided and Dirty) model upon which the economy is currently built; and where assets have been wasted, the benefits of economic growth have often been lopsided, and the generation of environmental pollution has been widespread. In its place, the CLIC TM (Circular, Lean, Inclusive and Clean) economy must be established. As an investor, Lombard Odier supports the transition of our economies to more inclusive and sustainable models. They aim to link their sustainability activities to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on those upon which they can have the most significant impact across their operating geographies. At the same time, Lombard Odier recognizes the need to develop their sustainability commitments and adapt their efforts as the issues they focus on continue to evolve, to ensure a sustainable impact on all their stakeholders. The Lombard Odier Group obtained B Corp certification in 2019, demonstrating full sustainability alignment of their product, services and corporate strategy.
