Founded in may 1977, Bancaribe Curaçao Bank, N.V. became the first foreign financial institution authorized to operate under an international banking license in Curaçao. Bancaribe Curaçao Bank is part of a financial group with over 70 years of history, originating with the founding of Bancaribe in Venezuela in 1954, an institution that currently serves more than 860,000 clients. The group includes Bancaribe International Bank, headquartered in San Juan, Puerto Rico (USA), and Bancaribe Capital, an investment advisory firm registered and regulated in the USA.

Building on this legacy, Bancaribe Curaçao Bank has, over the past four years, developed an ambitious digital transformation plan, positioning itself among the leaders in technological innovation within Curaçao’s international banking sector.
