The Bank is a member of the Association of International Banks of Puerto Rico, and its risk and governance policies are framed within US federal and regulatory standards, complemented by self-regulation and best practices.
Since July 2020, the Bank has been part of the Bancaribe Group, a financial organization with more than 70 years of history, originating with the founding of Bancaribe Curaçao Bank, N.V., located in Curaçao, and Bancaribe Capital, and investment advisory firm registered and regulated in the United States. Together, these entities deliver a comprehensive portfolio of financial solutions designed for individuals and legal entities across multiple jurisdictions.
