This webinar will present the guide Financing a Just Transition in Latin America and the Caribbean: A roadmap for banks and insurers and its recent translation into Portuguese. The session will explore the key role that banks and insurers play in enabling a just transition across the region.
Bringing together representatives from financial institutions, Indigenous Peoples’ organizations, development finance institutions, international organizations, and financial associations, the discussion will focus on the opportunities created by just transition finance, emerging initiatives in the region, and the partnerships needed to drive climate action that puts people at the center.
