UKEF is the UK government’s export credit agency, and aims at advancing prosperity by ensuring no viable UK export fails for lack of finance or insurance, and doing that sustainably and at no net cost to the taxpayer. In 2023-2024, UKEF provided £8.8 billion of financial support to UK exporters. The export credit agency support businesses in all sectors to export, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as large companies.
