Brief Overview of Organisation
Aksigorta is a Turkey based insurance company which was established in 1960. Currently, Aksigorta reaches its clients through 10 regional directorates, 672 employees, more than 3500 independent agencies, 782 bank branches, 69 brokers and about 5750 other institutions. Aksigorta operates in health and none-life insurance.
Summary of Sustainability Strategy
We, as Aksigorta, have the following reasons to join UNEP PSI Initiative:
to contribute to a greener and livable world,
to create risk awareness in the society as an insurance company,
and to create a positive impact on our ecosystem in terms of Sustainability.
The reasons provided above are the strategic priorities of Aksigorta. In this respect, we can say that each of our strategic priorities coincides with the principles of UNEP PSI Initiative. We expect to build new cooperation while taking actions based on these strategic priorities. We believe that it would be beneficial for all parties to cooperate with companies from the insurance industry that share the same intentions.
