This public webinar will examine the challenges and opportunities for financial institutions from the implementation of the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). The European Commission will provide details on the implementation of CBAM, such as: sectors covered, calculation of carbon levies, processes for verification and compliance, and available capacity building opportunities for third countries. Experts will reflect on the implementation challenges and opportunities for financial institutions.
