Join us for the official launch of the Advancing Environmental Risk Management (AERM) project in Zurich. A project of the Natural Capital Finance Alliance (NCFA), the Advanced Environmental Risk Management project has developed practical tools and methodologies to incorporate natural capital assessment into existing finance sector risk management frameworks.

The project provides the knowledge base needed for financial institutions to understand how their clients and portfolios are affected by their dependence on nature, especially in the context of ecosystem degradation and depletion, and possible responses a financial institution can take. Piloting banks will speak about their experiences in applying the natural capital assessment framework for enhanced portfolio risk management. The framework is developed by the NCFA with professional services firm PwC.

The event is hosted by UBS and co-organized with Swiss Sustainable Finance.

AERM is funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and the Mava Foundation.
