UNEP FI, UNEP, el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID), BID Invest, el eco.business Development Facility y su Academia de Sostenibilidad, GO4SDGs, y Circular Economy Coalition organizan una serie de webinars sobre “Financiación de la Economía Circular”, que se imparten principalmente en español, con traducción simultánea al inglés y al portugués de junio de 2022 a marzo de 2023.

La serie de webinars se ha diseñado para los diversos actores del sector financiero, incluyendo ejecutivos de entidades financieras (áreas de riesgos, comerciales, desarrollo de productos, mercado de capitales, etc.), inversores institucionales, inversores de impacto, compañías de seguros, representantes de organismos gubernamentales como reguladores y supervisores del mercado financiero y partes interesadas en conocer y explorar este soluciones financieras en Economía Circular.

Este programa consta de cinco webinars con una duración aproximada de una hora y media por webinar. Tienen un enfoque tanto teórico como práctico en el desarrollo de casos, desarrollo metodológico en la aplicación de criterios de la economía circular para la evaluación exitosa del riesgo de crédito e identificación de proyectos circulares en le área comercial.  Asimismo, se ve la definición de métricas de medición a nivel sectorial que fortalecen la toma de decisiones y alientan a las instituciones financieras a desarrollar servicios financieros y compromisos para acompañar a las diferentes industrias en la transición a una economía circular con patrones de consumo y producción más sostenibles.

En estos webinars se ven posibles estrategias y acciones que las instituciones financieras pueden implementar para acelerar el proceso de transición hacia una economía circular, más sostenible, gestionando más adecuadamente los actuales riesgos y barreras, e identificando oportunidades de negocios a través de la innovación de productos y servicios financieros que ofrecen a sus clientes.

UNEP FI, UNEP, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), IDB invest, the eco.business Development Facility and its Sustainability Academy, GO4SDGs, Circular Economy Coalition are organizing a series of webinars exploring how financial institutions can accelerate the transition to a circular economy. The events are held in Spanish, with simultaneous translation into English and Portuguese from June 2022 to March 2023.

The series of webinars has been designed for financial actors, including executives from financial institutions (risk, commercial, product development, capital markets, etc), institutional investors, impact investors, insurance companies, representatives from government agencies such as financial market regulators and supervisors.

The program consists of five webinars of one hour and a half each. These have both a theoretical and practical approach in the development of cases, methodological development in the application of circular economy criteria for the successful evaluation of credit risk and identification of circular projects in the commercial area.  It also explores measurement metrics at sectoral level to strengthen decision making and encourage institutions to develop financial services to accompany different industries in the transition to a circular economy with more sustainable consumption and production patterns.

These webinars look at possible strategies and actions that financial institutions can implement to accelerate the transition process towards a more sustainable circular economy, better manage current risks and barriers, and identify business opportunities through innovative financial products and services.

A certificate of attendance will be delivered to the participants having attended the five webinars.

Estes webinars analisam possíveis estratégias e ações que as instituições financeiras podem implementar para acelerar o processo de transição para uma economia circular mais sustentável, gerir melhor os actuais riscos e barreiras, e identificar oportunidades de negócio através de produtos e serviços financeiros inovadores.
