The Ocean Investment Protocol is a framework for financial institutions, policy makers and industry leaders to lead the growth of the sustainable ocean economy to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 14 — Life Below Water — and other related SDGs. By managing risks and capturing opportunities, these stakeholders have a central role to play — individually and collectively — to make the transition to a strong and innovative sustainable ocean economy that ensures the health of our oceans.
The Protocol was launched as a partnership between the UN Global Compact and UNEP FI.
