The UNEP FI Risk Centre develops resources to help risk professionals at financial institutions better understand and use sustainability-related disclosures within prudential risk management.

The Sustainability Disclosure Readiness Indicators (SDRI) Toolkit helps real-economy companies and financial institutions across sectors gauge their readiness for sustainability-related risk disclosures, which can enable internal reflection and gap analysis. The kit is comprised of a self-assessment survey and a methodology. Organisations may complete the anonymous survey and will receive a summary of their readiness indicators. Survey questions are structured around publicly available standards and frameworks.

How the self-assessment works: Complete the survey to receive a self-assessment on sustainability disclosure readiness. Responses are anonymized and processed as specified in the methodology paper. Based on your self-assessment, you will be emailed a PDF report of your results across the readiness indicators. When sufficient responses are collected, a breakdown of readiness scores at a sectoral level will also be provided.
