The recently released Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS) Nature Package provides practical tools for central banks, supervisors and financial institutions to integrate nature-related risks into their work to help strengthen the resilience of the financial system.

This session will focus on the NGFS recommendations for Supervisors in implementing a nature-related supervisory framework, as showcased in its “Note on the Supervision of Nature-related Financial Risks”. It presents an opportunity for financial institutions to understand upcoming regulatory requirements on nature risk and how to adapt their risk management practices.
