Mia Brinkmann

Mia Brinkmann focuses on EU real economy policy and nature-related financial regulation across jurisdictions within the Global Policy Team. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biomimetics, an interdisciplinary natural and engineering science, and a master’s degree in environmental studies and sustainability science from Lund University.

Prior to joining UNEP FI she worked in the renewable energy sector, specializing in citizen participation projects, and gathered insights on sustainable finance during an internship in the sustainability management department of a German bank.
