Over the past five years, the Principles for Responsible Banking (PRB) Commitment to Financial Health and Inclusion has brought together over thirty banks from around the world to explore and advance a fundamental shift in thinking: recognizing access to financial services as a means rather than an end in itself, and helping people and businesses improve their financial wellbeing, resilience, and quality of life.

This event marks the launch of UNEP FI’s Financial Health and Inclusion Commitment Impact Report, which reflects on five years of the Commitment, documenting the journeys of participating banks and their impact. Drawing on experiences across diverse markets and customer segments, the report highlights how banks have translated an emerging concept into practical action. It showcases approaches to target-setting, governance, measurement frameworks, product innovation, customer engagement, and capability building, while sharing lessons learned along the way.

The session will also look ahead to the future of financial health and inclusion, exploring what more is needed to ensure that financial services contribute meaningfully to positive outcomes, and examining the key challenges, opportunities, and priorities that will shape the next decade of action.

Join us and be part of the conversation shaping how financial institutions can create lasting impact for customers, clients, and communities.
