The Sustainability Risk Tool Dashboard is designed to help financial institutions navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of environmental and social risk tools. This open-access database provides a comprehensive overview of more than 100 tools, detailing their features, metrics, methodologies, assumptions, and common use cases. Building on earlier versions focused on climate, the Dashboard now includes expanded coverage of tools assessing nature, pollution, and social risks.

First launched in June 2023, the Dashboard is developed and maintained by the UNEP FI Risk Centre as part of the Risk Assessment and Tools Working Group, and is updated quarterly. The latest 2025 update incorporates findings from UNEP FI’s 2024 Climate Risk Landscape Report, which explores major market trends in physical and transition risk tools—along with its three supplements:

Together, the Dashboard and these publications offer financial institutions an integrated view of the tools landscape, supporting more informed, forward-looking risk assessment and decision-making.
