This session is co-hosted with the OECD Environment Directorate. It clarifies the importance of tackling water-related risks in the current context of climate change, and its implications for financial institutions and their risk management practices.
Speakers discuss current practices within the supervisory landscape on water-risk management by central banks and the importance of including and strengthening water-related indicators in supervisory frameworks. The session also looks at UNEP FI’s water-related materials and how financial institutions can manage their water risks.
