The Indicator Library provides a compilation of impact-related indicators and metrics drawn from some of the main sustainability frameworks as well as UNEP FI’s own resources: (last updated in February 2023)

  • Disclosure frameworks: GRI, SASB, CDP, TCFD
  • Impact Investor and Development Bank resources: IRIS+ and HIPSO
  • Taxonomies: EU Adaptation and Mitigation
  • PRB Target-setting guidance: climate change mitigation, financial health and inclusion, circularity

The indicators and related attributes are mapped to both topics and sectors.
The Impact Areas and Topics are those of the UNEP FI Impact Radar, 2022 revised edition.

Indicators and metrics for the measurement and assessment of practitioners practice and impact remains a field in development. As a result, the Indicator Library will inevitably present gaps for certain topics, sectors or use cases, as well as repetition for certain others.

The Library does not provide guidance on indicator selection or development; to this end please refer directly to the respective frameworks and their resources.
